Born August 12, 1990 in Baton Rouge, La. Huey Castro, (Blaine Butler) was conceived to go against the odds of music . Largely influence by the East-Coast Hip-Hop scene Huey picked up the pen & pad at the age of 11. After writing his first very first stanza he felt in love with the essence & culture that music brought. With being from the "South", the general idea of an artist's content; is to be "dumbed down", but Castro brings the opposite. With his lyrical versatility,  beat selection, word play, and overall style he simply stands out in the crowd.
